ระบบนิวเมติก (Pneumatic) หมายถึง ระบบการส่งถ่ายกำลังโดยอาศัยความดันลมเป็นตัวกลางในการส่งถ่ายกำลัง โดยมีอุปกรณ์ เช่น กระบอกลม ทำหน้าที่เปลี่ยนพลังงานลมให้เป็นพลังงานกล เช่น การทำให้กระบอกสูบลมหรือมอเตอร์ลมทำงาน และตัวอย่างของการนำพลังงานดังกล่าวไปประยุกต์ใช้ ได้แก่ งานบรรจุหีบห่อสินค้า งานขนถ่ายวัสดุ เครื่องมือกลที่ใช้พลังงานลมในการขับเคลื่อน การจับยึดเพื่อเจาะชิ้นงาน และการประทับตราลงบนตัวชิ้นงาน
